Tenants and Community
This aspect identifies actions to engage with tenants and community, as well as the nature of the engagement. Tenants/ Occupiers Tenant engagement is meant to increase the satisfaction of tenants and, with that, their likelihood of remaining in the building. The relationship between tenants and building owners is important both for securing and maintaining rental income as well as for managing risks that arise from the tenant/occupier’s use of the building. Community Local community is another important stakeholder group for real estate companies. Indicators on community engagement examine the strategies used by the entity to involve the local community.
