Strategy Requirements
Include wayfinding within the project boundary that:
- provides directions to a minimum of 3 qualifying amenities located within the project boundary
- provides directions to a minimum of 2 qualifying amenities located within 1/2 or 800 meters walking distance from a site entrance
- outlines walking distances to identified qualifying amenities
- is located within 100 feet or 30 meters of all of the following
- areas of commerce
- civic and/or institutional buildings
- transit stops
- parks or plazas
- commercial and/or industrial buildings
- social spaces
- areas identified as community destinations or high-traffic corridors
Qualifying amenities include:
- outdoor space
- shared on-site amenity
- transit stop
- community center
- library
- hospital/medical center
- restaurant
- farmers market
- CSA drop-off point
- on-site buildings
- site entrances
Design Certification
Submit the following:
- Annotated map(s) or plan(s) identifying all of the following:
- the planned location of each wayfinding sign
- the distance to each identified amenity
- the identified wayfinding destinations
- An official statement confirming that wayfinding signs will include distances and destinations
Built Certification
Submit the following:
- Annotated map(s) or plan(s) identifying all of the following:
- the location of each wayfinding sign
- the distance to each identified amenity
- the identified wayfinding destinations
- A minimum of 3 annotated photographs of each unique wayfinding sign
