Strategy Requirements
Include a minimum of one community garden within the project boundary that is:
- accessible and free of charge to all regular occupants
- designed to accommodate multiple ages and abilities
- maintained a minimum of once per week during local growing season
- a minimum of 0.05 square feet of garden per residential occupant
Design Certification
Submit all of the following:
- Annotated map(s) or plan(s) identifying the location of a minimum of one community garden that will be included within the project boundary
- Provide an official or draft statement confirming:
- that access to the community garden will be free
- the proposed weekly maintenance schedule for the local growing season
- A calculation demonstrating there will be a minimum of 0.05 square feet of garden per residential occupant.
Built Certification
Submit all of the following:
- Annotated map(s) or plan(s) identifying the location of a minimum of one qualifying community garden included within the project boundary
- Provide an official statement confirming:
- that access to the community garden is free
