Strategy Requirements

Include an arts and culture venue that is:

• located within the projected boundary or within 1/2 mile or 800 meters walking distance of the project boundary
• dedicated to regular arts and cultural programming
• programmed a minimum of once a month
• offers access to free and low-cost events
• accessible to regular occupants as well as general public use

Qualifying venues include:

• museums
• art galleries
• art centers
• publicly accessible artist cooperatives
• music halls
• music centers
• performing arts centers
• outdoor performance venue with dedicated infrastructure

Design Certification

Submit all of the following:

1. Annotated map(s) or plan(s) showing
   1. If it will be located on-site, the location of the qualifying venue within the project boundary
   2. If located off-site, the distance between the qualifying venue and the project boundary
2. An official or draft statement confirming the qualifying venue will:
   1. be accessible to all regular occupants and the general public
   2. offer regular occupants access to programming at low or no cost
   3. be dedicated to arts and cultural events
3. If existing:
   1. a schedule of monthly programming from the last three months, including publicity materials.
   2. a minimum of 3 annotated photographs of the qualifying venue.

Built Certification

Submit all of the following:
