- ensuring local grocery stores and farmers markets accept government food subsidies
- subsidizing the purchase of fresh produce with food assistance initiatives
- subsidizing crop share programs
- establishing school nutrition programs
Design Certification
Submit all of the following:
- Annotated map(s) identifying:
- if located on-site, the planned or existing location of the qualifying food outlet(s)
- if located off-site, the distance between the qualifying food outlet(s) and the project boundary
- An official statement or draft detailing:
- the qualifying food equity program or policy that will be implemented
- that the qualifying food equity program or policy will be accessible to regular occupants
Built Certification
Submit all of the following:
- Annotated map(s) identifying:
- if located on-site, the location of the qualifying food outlet(s)
- if located off-site, the distance between the qualifying food outlet(s) and the project boundary
- An official statement or draft detailing:
- the qualifying food equity program or policy that is implemented
- that the qualifying food equity program or policy is accessible to regular occupants
